Scroll through the Bulls below, and the Heifers at the bottom of the page!

2025 Bulls

The Bulls, per usual, were on just grass and free choice mineral/salt for 180 days this grazing season.

The Bulls are Lot Listed/Cataloged by birthdate; with the oldest being Lot 1.

We fore-went clipping this year due to the onset and forecast of lengthy below normal cold stretches. We try to mitigate stress on the animals and firmly believe their natural state is the way God intended them to be.

We are excited to introduce new sires this year and hope you like what you see!

*EPDs are updated weekly and subject to change. *Dams Age listed is the age of of dam at time of animals birth.

*Heifers are at bottom of page after the bulls.

Calving Ease Rating - 1* = Least Calving Ease/Cows Only, 2** = Cows & Large Heifers, 3*** = Suitable for Heifers

Lots 1-19 are 1* and 2*. 3* bulls start at Lot 20. We sell in catalog order.

Our 2024 bull lots start out with our oldest bull offered this year, and lots will go in age order.  This dark cherry, 3-star calving ease prospect rings the bell with a top 3% breed CED at 18 and top 1% BW epd. His Defender lineage has been a great cow making line and this complete, easy moving, no-fault bull looks to follow his heritage. We really like the set to his hock and his clean fronted appearance.

Lot 4 317 2025.jpg

RAAA #: 4813367 99.9% 1B

Dams MPPA/Age: 102/12

This Bourne sired son represents a special cow line in our herd. His dam represents the fifth generation of a maternal lineage of 36 years of breeding Red Angus cattle. That corresponds to an average life of better than 7 years of production per generation and his breed topping 1% ranking in stayability, and 8% in Herdbuilder proves that! As an individual, he outperforms his numbers in a thick, high volume meaty package.

RAAA #: 4813523 100% 1A Twin to Bull

Dams MPPA/Age: 104/6

Here is a bigger outlined bull that was born as a twin to another bull calf. My guess is that his ears got frost nipped because his momma was busy with his brother. Super long from head to tail, this Profit Builder son will inject an extra dose of performance in his calf crops. His dam has been a favorite in our herd and we have kept back several of her progeny for our own use, including his twin brother. His WW and YW epds rank on either side of the top 20% in the breed.

As much of a 3-star calving ease prospect as we can produce. This Bourne/Defender combination hits the bar with the top 1% CED and top 1% BW and an actual bw of 68#. Moderate framed but wide topped, this guy carries depth into the fore and rear rib. He is very correct in his build and has impressive Pro$ (top 15%) and Herdbuilder (top 4%) indices. Also, his REA epd is in the top 25%

Balanced in type and kind as well as his genotypic profile (sire’s performance, dam’s calving ease) would best describe this smooth fronted, structurally sound 2-star calving ease bull. Sired by Defender and having calving ease on the bottom side of his pedigree, L332 should have been a 3-star calving ease bull, but with an actual 92# bw, we decided to give him a 2-star status. He is easy keeping and solid! If you need some calving ease on your cows without sacrificing performance, lot 12 should be able to punch your ticket!

Reviewing the notes on Lot 13, we realized that there is a lot we like about this bull. His Campbell bred cow (MPPA 104) hit a home run with her first time at bat with this calving ease prospect. Small headed, clean fronted and put together right, L339 is a moderate framed but very correct kind of bull. He has a nice balanced set of numbers highlighted by his calving ease data (76# actual bw).

He’ll stay a 2 star but it’s your chance to pick up a high-performance sire with calving ease in his background. His HB index is in the top 5%.

We like the pound making, carcass minded balance of traits that L416 brings to the table. A long hipped, long-bodied individual who gives a great profile appearance will work in a lot of scenarios for his next lucky owner. He’s tight sheathed and ready to go to work! It’s our nature to list any known faults and this lot has a cloudy right eye from a past eye infection.  L300 represents the growth and performance breeding of our herd. Here is an all-around solid and correctly made heifer that rises to the top with her performance data and 11% WW and 12% YW epds. She’s the largest framed and deepest heifer in this group, but we still consider her moderate.
